I need to create the virtual ID on the solaris Box but this is a non-global zone, and the server is in the cluster(veritas cluster). Please advice on this.
You can set up the zone so that it is managed by VCS (is that how you're set up?) In that case, you would create IDs the same way you would in a regular server. You can even set up the non-global zone to authenticate differently than the global zone does.
Since the zone is set up in VCS, your ids will migrate around the cluster with the service group.

Hi, Charlie.
I'm not sure what you mean by a "virtual id."

I hope that helps.
